About Markers and Media Clipping

Markers are time-based reference points you can use to annotate your video assets with information describing the different scenes. They come with several built-in types, such as Opening Credits, End Credits, Studio logos, Scene, Color bars, and others, to help you better categorize your markers and visualize them on a timeline.

The Clipping Media feature allows you to extract segments from your video assets in Connect to create promos, trailers, compliance edits, picture-to-picture, etc.

This tool offers versatile options, allowing you to either extract individual clips, combine multiple segments into a single file, or remove scenes by selecting the markers to omit, while maintaining control over all the parameters of the desired output format(s) offered by your favorite Transcode Provider, using our flexible Native Transcode profiles.

You can monitor the extraction progress and download the newly created files directly from the same interface.
