To be able to configure an Ateme provider, you must first create an account with Ateme.
To configure an Ateme transcoder provider, perform the following steps:
Open the Providers menu and select Transcoder.
Click New Transcoder Provider. The Create new Transcoder Provider page is displayed.
Enter a name for your provider in the Name field.
Set the Type field to Ateme+.
Enter the API URL. This field represents the URL used to access the Ateme API.
Enter the Username and Password information.
The username and password information is provided by the Ateme team.
Optional: Enter the Organization identifier. This field refers to the tenant to be used. It is only required when the authenticated user has access to multiple organizations. The organizational context switch needs to be performed after the authentication process, in cases where the user’s active organization does not match the one configured by the provider.
This information can be retrieved through Ateme API calls or by requesting it from the Ateme team.
Enter the Deployment identifier. This field refers to the deployed cluster that the work should be performed on.
This information is visible in the Ateme portal, under clusters.
Set the Credentials name. This field refers to the unique name of the stored cloud credentials for the targeted cluster deployment. Usually, this points to either a client access key and secret for a given service user or a role based on the cloud provider used to deploy the cluster. In our case, this is AWS and the credentials allow access to the organization bucket, to read and write within the transcoding job.
This information is visible in the Ateme portal.
