The DRM (Digital Rights Management) provider is a video content protection system that enables streaming sensitive media files securely over the internet.
To configure a DRM provider, perform the following steps:
Open the Providers menu and select DRM.
Click New DRM Provider. The Create new DRM Provider page is displayed.
Select the type. Note that only CPIX (Content Protection Information Exchange) is supported.
The URL must resolve to an API endpoint that is compatible with CPIX.
For BuyDRM, the URLs are:
https://cpix-keyos.licensekeyserver.com/cpix/v1.0
for CPIX Version 2.2
https://cpix-keyos.licensekeyserver.com/cpix/v2.0
for CPIX Version 2.3
Select the Version. Note that we currently support versions 2.2 and 2.3.
In the Authentication section, you can set up content keys.
The Public Key allows you to access your own DRM key. If you need help, contact your account manager.
The Private Key is provided by the client assuming they have their own DRM account. If not, we need to reach out to our DRM provider to provide us with this info.
Click Save. Your provider is created and displayed in the DRM Providers menu.
