Extract an Individual File

To extract an individual file:

1. Open the video file you want to extract a clip from.
2. Select the marker you want to extract from the list available on the Markers tab.
3. Click Extract media. The Extract media modal is displayed.
4. Select the transcoder profile you want to use for your video file.
5. Select the Individual files option.
6. Adjust the location name to make sure you can easily find your extracted file and enter the file extension. It’s important to set the same file extension as the one set on the transcoding profile used.
   Note

   The filename is automatically generated based on the predefined naming convention Audio / Video from the Presets tab of the organization settings.

   
7. Click Save. The rendering process begins and runs in the background. To check on the progress, navigate to the Extracted Clips tab.
