Importing CSV Files

You can import multiple titles and ready-to-use content into Connect using a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. By importing the CSV file you can automatically create or update titles, and easily edit the files, designations, and metadata attributes associated with them.

CSV Import Workflow

To import a CSV file, you must follow these steps:

1. Upload the media items you want to associate and assign to the title. For more information, see Uploading Media.
2. Create and configure the entity types that are used with your title using the Metadata Settings menu. For more information, see Configuring Metadata Settings.
3. Create the CSV file with the metadata attribute fields you want to include using any text editor. The attributes are written in LiquidJS. For more information, see Creating a CSV File.
4. Import the CSV file you previously created into Connect. For more information, see Importing a CSV File.
